Project 2024 - We Are Raising £2024 this year for Mind...  You Can Help Us - It's So Simple  There is a mental health crisis in our society.

In our village of just 300 homes, there have been 4 adolescent suicides in the last few years. The Mortgages Company (Tapper Financial Services) also has close family members who have been affected by serious mental health issues.
20% of adolescents may experience a mental health problem in any given year
50% of mental health problems are already established by the age of 14
Suicide is the biggest killer of men under 50.

Project 2024 aims to support young people, so that mental health issues can be dealt with before they become deep rooted. Early intervention is vital in helping youngsters to cope and recover.

We want to raise £2024 in 2024 for Mid and North East Essex Mind**. Funds raised will be used for extra training courses for Mind's Educational Mental Health Practitioners, who are working with young people at the Colchester Institute and Colchester Sixth Form College, as well as some primary and secondary schools. Being able to fund more bespoke speciality training, will mean Mind will be able to widen the clinical scope to support more young people.

You can help us to help them. Recommend us to friends and family and The Mortgages Company currently pledges to give £50 for every new client who takes either a mortgage or an insurance policy with us, and who quotes the reference PROJECT 2024

Watch our progress on our Just Giving page. If you would like to donate anyway, please feel free to do so here. Thank you!

Our young people are not supposed to die before us, and even more tragically, to take their own lives.

So, stop and take a moment now. Just think of a friend or member of family who has moved home, or had an addition to the family, or changed job. Then put us both in touch - it is so simple.

Please Help us Help them.

Thank you!
